Despite having mountains of work to do I took the day off….everyone else seemed to be so I might as well join in on the fun. Daron took me out for a little adventure. It was such a blast! I felt like a little kid seeing all of the snow. It was the greatest date we have had in a long time. Along the way we stopped to photograph a small bridge. I jumped out of the truck and a car pulled up so Daron drove off. I was assuming he was going to turn around and come back. Five minutes later, I’m still standing in the road, waiting. Ten minutes later, nervous laughter. Twenty minutes, tears. A car finally pulls over to ask if I need help. I explain what has happen. Basically that my loving fiance has left me on the side of the road in the snow. He asks me if he has a green truck. To which I reply “yes, did you see him pulling someone out of the ditch” of course I assume he hasn’t come back because he is rescuing someone. I was wrong, he was being rescued. The nice gentleman drove me to him and I had a nice laugh.
